Schedule your newborn sessions before the baby arrives to ensure a spot on my calendar.   A deposit of $100 will secure your intent rather than an actual date. • Put me on your “baby is here” call list and we can choose an actual date.  
• Newborn sessions are best within  the first 6-10 days of life.  Babies tend to be feeding well which helps them sleep more soundly during the session.  The more they sleep the easier it is for us to move them around into the sweet sleepy newborn poses.  Let’s see that little bundle early!  That being said I have had many successful sessions with babies up to 5 weeks old.  An older baby will likely be swadded for most of the session 

 location 
My studio is located at 1559 Pelican Ln in Vero Beach.  Expecting parents are invited to visit the studio before baby arrives to choose from  my collection of  props and outfits.  I also have  wardrobe items for parents and siblings. 

• Home sessions are also available.  Either lifestyle or with props  added travel fees may apply.

morning of the session

•Limit long naps and heavy feedings in the morning before your session.  A little bath and extra interaction  are also great way to ensure a good sleeper. 

• Plan to nurse when you arrive at the studio. This will give us a good sleeper and allow a few minutes to finalize outfit and prop choices. 

•Avoid spicy foods and caffine.   I'll be moving baby between poses.  We want to do everything possible to help us have a good sleeper during the session.

older siblings

  It's a good idea to do shots with older siblings at the beginning of the session. Have someone available to entertain them out of the room while we work with your newborn.   That being said we'll work around a shy toddler if they aren't quite ready at the begining of the session.   Within a few blocks of the studio are several nice lunch spots for a daddy date with big brother or sister while the baby is being photographed.
